Eve, I specifically asked because of the Facebookians reaction to Facebook wanting to change their Terms. I look forward to your blog about it. I believe you would have a well thought out set of points, you always do.

For your reference, this is what Facebook has to say (at the moment :)):
Facebook does not assert any ownership over your User Content; rather, as between us and you, subject to the rights granted to us in these Terms, you retain full ownership of all of your User Content and any intellectual property rights or other proprietary rights associated with your User Content.

@Tanya

Thanks for voicing your concern. My terms are actually quite mild when compared to Fbook or Linkedin, but I understand your concern.

I think I am going to write a full blog post about this, since Terms have received so much coverage recently. For now, let me just say that I explicitly took out any right to reuse your content for commercial purpose, but that due to the nature of the product, I *have* to have the right to re-use your content, but in a limited fashion.

I do agree that under no circumstances should content ever be used in a manner for which it was not submitted. So, although it would be OK for me to publish your "about me" info in a widget on MyZone, it would not be OK for me to publish it in a magazine.

But more in the blog post ... :-)

Eve, I am really disturbed by the Terms and Conditions that say that anything I submit can be used by you at any time for any purpose. I am wondering if you have any comment about this?
